Job Description The University of Miami Health System, Miller School of Medicine is initiating a search for a Hepatologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor of Medicine level. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide direct outpatient care to Hepatology patients primarily at the University of Miami Hospital and Clinics Perform routine endoscopic services on Hepatology patients Provide inpatient care, on a rotating basis on a APP run Hepatology Service Opportunities to initiate and participate in clinical research studies Teaching of residents and fellows DESIRED QUALIFIATIONS: MD/DO Degree ACGME US Internal Medicine residency BE/BC in Internal Medicine BE/BC in Gastroenterology BE/BC in Transplant Hepatology encouraged Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply Must maintain CME to meet institutional and state licensing requirements Current BLS certification required.
